The City Winery in NYC is a Train Wine Club member’s urban dream come true - the perfect pairing of wine and music in a stylish downtown environment. Diners can enjoy a glass or bottle of wine from its 24-page wine menu while enjoying live music performed on an intimate stage.  City Winery has a constant schedule of performances and events to fill your schedule, and yours truly was able to experience some expert karaoke this past Monday night while taking advantage of some great wine specials.  In addition to the main dining room, City Winery also boasts a gorgeous private cellar dining room perfect for a special dinner or occasion.  One of the best features of City Winery is barrel ownership, a unique experience that allows owners the chance to produce their own private-label wine by themselves or with a group of friends. Once the wine-making process is complete barrel owners are then able to distribute their 250 custom bottles to friends and family.  An amazing opportunity for city dwellers to experience a bit of the vineyard lifestyle right in New York City!
